Fulham are exploring alternatives options in case their move for Arsenal’s Cedric Soares falls through…. with Norwich full-back Max Aarons among the London side’s shortlist
Fulham are looking at alternatives should they fail to agree personal terms with main target Cedric Soares of Arsenal.
Norwich’s Max Aarons, Danny McNamara of Millwall and Luton’s James Bree are all under consideration with Marco Silva keen to strengthen his right-back options before the window closes.
The Fulham boss is eager to add to his squad depth this month but he is also not willing to pay over the odds to do so – hence why a move for Cedric may collapse.

Arsenal are keen to sell Cedric given he is largely surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium – with Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu preferred options.
Cedric, 31, has just one Premier League appearance to his name this season, coming on as a substitute. His only start in 2022-23 came in the Carabao Cup loss against Brighton.
The London side are running into similarly concerns over a move for Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure and the financial risks his transfer could bring.
Fulham have made a strong start to the season, despite being tipped to struggle following promotion and beat Hull 2-0 in the FA Cup third round.
