After Tottenham bid, ‘amazing’ player has been offered to Arsenal
According to The London Evening Evening, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Brighton and Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard, a player Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are interested in.
The report has claimed that Trossard wants to leave Brighton this month after falling out with manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Tottenham are interested in the Belgium international winger, according to the report, which has added that Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign the 28-year-old.
The Athletic had earlier reported that Tottenham are interested in Trossard and had a verbal offer of £12 million for the winger turned down.
COULD A JANUARY TRANSFER HAPPEN?
In our view, Arsenal could be able to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.
The winger has publicly fallen out with De Zerbi, and we do not think that the Seagulls will want to keep him at the club.
Now, of course, Brighton will have their own expectations of a transfer fee for the winger.
So, Arsenal will have to pay a decent transfer fee for the Belgian, described as “amazing” by former Liverpool star Jose Enrique on Instagram.
The winger has scored seven goals and given two assists in 16 Premier League matches for the Seagulls so far this season.
